Participate in obstacle courses, skills stations, and enjoy a wonderful day promoting bicycle safety and fitness!
This is a FREE, family-friendly event. Just bring your bicycle and helmet!
On Sunday, April 26th starting 2 p.m., bicyclists of all ages and skills are invited to the Brookhaven Public Safety Building at 1793 Briarwood Rd Brookhaven, GA.
Once a bicyclist receives sign-off of demonstrating basic bike handling skills, they may join the Brookhaven police for a guided ride along the Peachtree Creek Greenway.
The event is managed by the Brookhaven Bike Alliance in partnership with the City of Brookhaven Police Department. The Brookhaven Bike Alliance works closely with the City of Brookhaven to advocate for safer streets and better citywide connectivity for bicyclists of all ages.
Practice an “ABC quick check”. Before you ride, always check the tire air pressure, brakes & cables, chain, and quick release.
Wear a helmet. Georgia's bicycle helmet law requires every biker under the age of 16 to wear a helmet.
There is no event fee, no event insurance, no implied warranty of any kind as to the fitness and safety of this event for those who choose to participate. Do not participate if you are not comfortable with the risks of riding bikes.
Not only to our event sponsors provide participant prizes, but they financially support Brookhaven Bike Alliance. Please thank them by visiting them — ideally on your bike — and mentioning the Pedal the Parks event.
