Pick a Route

Ride when you want, how you want.

The Brookhaven Bike Alliance has “outlined” several routes for you to consider at your own pace. These are not turn-by-turn routes, but rather more overall directions in order to pass through the parks.

We encourage you to treat these maps as suggestions only; you should plan your own route according to your own comfort and risk level. We hope these help point you in the right direction!

Contest Rules

How do I play?

All you need to do is safely bike to or in any Brookhaven park. The more parks you visit, the more changes to win one of the prizes!

  • Participant must upload a selfie while in a Brookhaven park with the hashtag #pedaltheparksbrookhaven to be eligible to win.

  • Selfies must include either bike or bike helmet.

  • Selfies can be uploaded to the Brookhaven Bike Alliance Facebook page or group, or to a participant's own Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account as long as hashtags are included and the post is public.

  • A “Best Photo” contest will occur every week in May; selfies can be uploaded anytime during the month of May.

  • Participants must log their park visits by this Google form by no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 2, 2022; a maximum of 16 entries can be made per participant.

What are the prizes?

Prizes range from gift cards to local businesses, Explore Brookhaven Picnic baskets, bike shirts and accessories and more, all donated to us by our wonderful sponsors.

How will I know I won?

We will announce and hold a drawing on June 11th 11:00 a.m. at the Brookhaven Farmers Market. One does not have to be present to win.
